Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. The service

The Open Kitchen ("the service"), operated by Clyde Villaruz and available at theopenkitchen.app, helps organizers run open play pickleball sessions — live queues, matchmaking, scheduling, RSVP, boards, and recaps. By using the service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.

2. Accounts

  • Hosting a session requires an account; you are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • Players may join sessions without an account by providing a display name.
  • You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old.

3. Subscriptions

Parts of the service may require a paid subscription. Prices, included features, billing cycles, and the refund policy will always be shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future charges and paid features remain active until the end of the paid period.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don't break the law, harass others, or impersonate people in session names, display names, or content.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe its security, scrape it at scale, or resell it without permission.
  • Session content (names, results, recaps) is visible to whoever holds that session's link — only add people's names with their knowledge.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us the licence needed to store, display, and share it as the service requires (for example, showing a session's queue to its participants or generating a recap image a host shares). Reclub imports read only publicly visible attendee names from the event link a host provides; Reclub is a separate service we are not affiliated with.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is", without warranties — outages, data loss, and bugs can happen. We may change or discontinue features, and may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens on court — play safe.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
